    • On immigration from Germany, located in York Coi., PA, then moved to Westmoreland Co., PA in 1796. Prior to 1801 took up residence in Butler County, PA.

      In a Will dated 12/14/1829, signed as Samuel Mihl, Samuel bequeaths $1 to each of his children except Jacob. To Jacob he bequeaths the remainder of his estate except that which he specifically bequeaths to his wife, Margaret with the agreement of Jacob.

      May have served in the 8th Co. 7th Battalion of the York Co. Militia during the Revolutionary War. [2, 4, 5]
